Samuel Eto’o wishes to officially present the Women’s AFCON trophy to the Minister of Sports, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi.
“I have the distinct honor of informing you that the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon won, on Sunday August 16, 2026 in Rabat, the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2026, against Malawi (3-0).
This is the very first continental title for our women’s national team, the result of remarkable collective work of which our country can legitimately be proud.
Aware of the importance of this historic achievement for the reputation of Cameroonian football and for the entire national sporting youth, I would like a FECAFOOT delegation to come and officially present this trophy to you, in your capacity as the head of the technical oversight of sports in Cameroon.
To that end, I would like to request, with your kind permission, that you grant us an audience, on the date and at the time you would be so kind as to indicate to us, according to your availability.
