The EV!L is very deep:

♜ At school, the AMERICAN learns his history, he has references, he learns that he is the best, he learns that his freedom is the result of the sacrifices of his ancestors. Mentally, he becomes very strong and ready to conquer the world.

♚ At school, the FRENCH learns that his freedom is the result of conquests led by his ancestors, a little everywhere in the world. The defeats of his ancestors are skillfully valorized. Eventually, he becomes strong, learns to have confidence in himself and ready to perpetuate the work of his ancestors.

♞ At school, the AFRICAN learns that his ancestors exchanged their brothers for trinkets, mirrors, alcohol. He learns that his colonized ancestors went to liberate their colonizer without liberating themselves. He also learns that all his ancestors who wanted to resist ended up being killed. He is taught that he became independent in 1960, but daily reality shows him that he is still under monetary, cultural, and psychological domination. The works of his ancestors are ignored and those of the colonizer studied with love. He is taught that his ancestors are vulgar dead while he sings and shouts and dances in places of worship to honor the ancestors of others. He is taught that he has no renowned history and that his culture is idolatry. He is informed that his spirituality is witchcraft and that he must disconnect from it to embrace the religion of people from elsewhere.

And finally, he feels unable to produce the smallest needle. He spends his time "self-flagellating" by questioning his skin, his country, his brothers and sisters, adopting imported behaviors. He no longer sees the obvious, his gaze is directed, he adores his tormentor, ends up falling in love with him, adopting his way of life, speaking, dressing, like him. Any "truth" not coming from the other becomes a "lie" and all "lies" accepted as "truth".

"Vengeance for Justice Denied"

My heart is shattered, my soul in despair
Life's agony and pain, too much to bear
That fateful night, my world was torn apart
A monster attacked, leaving a permanent mark

My dignity and confidence, he cruelly stripped away
Injected me with filth and dirt, causing unendurable pain
Tears flowed down my face, pleading eyes fell on deaf ears
The officer chose money over justice, adding to my fears

Years have passed, yet the pain is still raw
Sleepless nights, feeling dirty and empty to the core
My soul tied to his, a curse that won't be undone
Vengeance is mine, for justice has not been done

I will k!ll him, to finally appease my soul
Don't judge my actions, for you don't know the toll
Of living with such trauma, day in and day out
My decision is final, of that there's no doubt.

Most people when they think of flowers they see delicacy , colourful and love/relationships. So what if earth was seen as humanity’s flower?

A seed planted in fertile soil,
A new beginning; greatly appreciated,
Earth's natural resources, one in the galaxy
Greatly appreciated.
A smile plastered on one’s face; sweet and gentle, my flower sprouted.
Sunshine and rain infused with oxygen,
Earth's importance is never questioned.
The flower sprouted flamboyant petals.
Humanity's heart, overjoyed,
The flower continued to increase in
Beauty, growth, and resources
Everything seemed perfect for the flower.
Sooner,
Later,
the flower lost its value,
Its once-humid climate,
Long-forgone to global warming
Its water supply, tainted with
Pollution and rubbish.
Its petals, ashen;
Earth's trees, cut down,
Its once natural compelling beauty,
Replaced with
Man-made infrastructure and technology.
Its once flourished, soil,
Poisoned with our carbon footprint.
The once-fresh air, intoxicated with carbon emissions and fossil fuels.
Then,
Humanity notices:
Desperation infiltrates the land
‘Save the flower’
Engraved in everyone’s heart,
The flower smiled when watched but cried silent tears,
Clean water was never found,
Fertile soil was never found,
Fresh air was never found,
Natural resources were wiped out.
Sooner,
Later,
The flower perished.
Famine affected humanity
Diseases spread
Man-made infrastructure could only fill in the void for a short period of time.
Those who once cherished the flower,
Long for its charisma and realism,
They now all long for:
Humanity's flower.
Oh, Earth
You are too wonderful
For anybody to notice you.
If only we saw the signs sooner, if only we didn’t become careless and ignorant of the things around us.
You know what to do and you certainly know how to do it. So what will you do to make sure Earth doesn’t become the protagonist of this poem?

I Was Wondering;

'What Are We Doing?'
Then;
A Voice came,
And replied to me:
You are Busy with Wars!
You are Busy with Your Greed!
You are Busy with Your Love for Money!
You are Busy with Your Materialistic Things!
You Don't Care About Me!

I then fell into a deep pool of Thoughts on this!
Then, I asked,
WHO ARE YOU?:
A reply:
I'm The EARTH,
Where You Live,
I'm You're PRESENT and FUTURE!
Start thinking more about me!
Or,
You may lose me!
I'm that EARTH,
Whom you call MOTHER EARTH,
And,
I'm that MOTHER NATURE,
Whom you will always need!

That is why,
Caring for me is needed.
The Time is Now to Act for Climate Change or any emerging Environmental issues!
