For a thousand years, we human beings have behaved as if our actions had no consequences for the well-being of the Earth. Now, global heating and the climate crisis are forcing us to take our relationship with nature more seriously. These challenges affect us all. They mean that we must take the whole of humanity and the entire planet into account. May this COP30 meeting result not just in more talk but action.
