Ursprünglich im Jahre 1898 erbaut um die Gornergrat Bahn mit Wasserkraft zu versorgen, ist die Turbina ein einzigartiger Ort um Ihren Anlass zu beherbergen. Die Turbina versorgte die Gornergrat Bahn bis 1947 mit Strom. 2014 starteten die Umbauarbeiten und nun bietet die Turbina eine einmalige Lokalität für Ihren Anlass

Inspiring Moments in the Kraftwerk Turbina

The decommissioned Kraftwerk Turbina was built by the Gornergrat Bahn in 1898 to supply generated electricity for the train travelling to Gornergrat. The Turbina is the ideal location to inspire your customers, guests and employees, and it is suitable for product presentations, talks, meetings, birthday celebrations, parties and much more. The Turbina is located on the Findelbach and reached by foot from the village centre in about 15 minutes. Through its location, it can be combined perfectly with an excursion to Gornergrat. The former power station can also be reached easily from the Furi base station (of the Matterhorn glacier paradise) as well as from Sunnegga via Findeln.

Turbina is organising a Flea Market - Winter Edition 🧡
A curated second-hand market for ski & snowboard equipment, touring gear and clothing — with artisan vibes, live music, snacks and of course glühwein.

How it works:
1️⃣ Register via the online form or just come to the drop off times
2️⃣ Drop off your items at the scheduled times
3️⃣ We handle the sale on event day

We keep 10% of the sale + 20CHF deposit (to guarantee you come pick up your items if they don’t sell).
Everything must be functional, clean and safe.
