After a fourth round of edits this morning (phew!), my 2027 Watercolour Zermatt Wall Calendars are now available to preorder! 🎉

Each painting making up the 12 month calendar is a specially selected scene from Zermatt, reflecting the seasonal changes, the soaring peaks and the wildlife found here.

As this is my very first yearly wall calendar, preorders are super important as they help me decide how many to order from the printers. Preorders will close on 1st November. Of course you'll still be able to order after the 1st, there will just be limited stock available.

Your calendars will be dispatched to you at the end of November.

✨ Change of plans! ✨

You may have seen some of these dates previously listed as Walk & Watercolour Workshops which focused on painting the local wildflowers. I’ve switched all of September’s workshops to Watercolour Landscapes to focus on painting the Matterhorn and the surrounding peaks as unfortunately the heat this summer has meant there are very few wildflowers left to paint.

I hope to see you at a watercolour workshop this September! 😄🤞

You only see the pretty part of an art market… 👀

There’s actually a LOT that happens before I get to put everything out on the table.

Check previous market sales ✅
Print art prints ✅
Make more stock ✅
Packaging ✅
Try to fit everything into boxes and backpacks I can carry (I live in a car free town!) ✅
Question whether I’ve forgotten something ✅😂

And then finally… market day!

I genuinely love doing markets because I get to meet you and hear which paintings and products you love most.

Will you come and say hello at my next one? 💙
Hint: It’s tomorrow! 2-8pm at Turbina in Zermatt.

If you missed out on Friday’s Street Festival in Zermatt for Swiss National Day, see you at Turbina on the 16th August for my next market.

I nailed my previous market stall set up by arriving with an hour to get it done. This time I did the same and I’m so glad I did! 💪 Does this count as a habit yet? 😉

Already a win before making any sales as it was my most relaxed market stall set up of all time. 🎉

See you today outside Yosemite on Bahnhofstrasse in Zermatt until it gets dark! ✨🌙

This how I get ready for local craft fairs and markets. ⬇️

First I check my numbers from previous similar events and decide how much stock to take. I haven’t been at this event before so this was the tricky bit this time around. I do know how busy the street gets though and how difficult it was to move last time! 🎉

Then there’s a lot of printing, signing, labelling and packing to get it all ready.

I can’t wait to see you at the Zermatt Street Fest on Friday. Only two days to go!! 🥳

➡️ See you outside Yosemite from 4pm onwards on Friday 31st July to celebrate Switzerland’s National Day! 🇨🇭

This week I’ve been busy doing a stock take, printing and packaging art prints, sewing more stock and packing it all into boxes for my next market! 🛍️

See you at the Zermatt Strassenfest on 31st July outside Yosemite on Bahnhofstrasse. 🎉

Three reasons to get your watercolours out before the end of the month…

🧘🏽‍♂️ Relaxation & meditation 🧘🏻‍♀️
Watercolour painting is a wonderfully meditative activity. Put on some chill out music, light a scented candle and settle in for a relaxing painting session.

🎨 A sense of accomplishment and pride in your creative abilities. 🖌️
Whether you’re an experienced watercolour painter or this is your first time, you’ll finish with a painting to be proud of.

✨ Something more productive than another night of TV on the sofa. ✨
We all have a series we’re addicted to (we’re binge watching House atm!) but taking a night away from the TV will do wonders for your creativity and tired eyes!

So head on over to my links page to download my free July printable & paint along following the instructions on my blog. I look forward to seeing your finished paintings! 🖼️
