🎨 What did our participants learn during 2 days of oil painting?

Over two intensive days, the participants learned how to:
• create a strong composition and make sketches before starting a painting
• work with monochrome studies to better understand value, light and shadow
• mix colours and achieve the right shades
• understand different art materials and how to choose the right paints, brushes and canvases
• work from a still life and observe shapes, colours, light and shadows
• create a sense of volume, light and depth in a painting
• understand the process of building a painting — from the first layers to the final details
• recognize and correct mistakes during the painting process
• analyse their work and make independent decisions about colour, composition and details 🖌️

Two intensive days of theory, demonstrations and lots of practice — and a completely new understanding of oil painting🤗
