Last week I was a lucky participant of a life painting session organised by Andrew Lavender’s for his art project. We were invited to follow the brushmarks of the British artist Euan Uglow. As he was very paricular about the proportion and perspective Andrew’s project required a whole lot of preparation like cutting a table to get a perfect curve, picking the right colour drapes, securing a perfect art model for the week. This was Elena 😍 . And I am so glad we met and had so much fun painting and talking with Elena and my fellow artists about very deep subjects. Touching on self worth, feeling adequate and other jummy uncomfortable matters. As usual I went against the current a little and changed the colours of the background. Did not calculate anything like Uglow would, but I felt a lot! …and my brush translated it onto the canvas.

Just what I do to feel good. And to be honest I think about it non stop. Guess spreading some happy colours, makes me happy 🩵😉

Here we go. A fresh painting on the easel. I blame the heat for the subject of this new work in progress. I wonder if Asia Eichner can recognise this? 😉
