The Special Achivement 2025 goes to

Over the past 15 years, Fabienne Schmuki has played a pivotal role in shaping our music scene. As co-CEO, she ran Irascible’s Zurich office; as a PR expert, she and her team have propelled countless indie bands into the spotlight; and as an A&R, she has discovered new acts with keen interest and a flair for what’s current. Whatever she does, Fabienne goes the extra mile and looks where others don’t even realise you can look. In 2014, as the sole FLINTA representative, she co-founded the association indieSuisse alongside other label heads, serving on its board until the end of 2025. She is committed to Helvetiarockt and has served on EDI and sustainability committees at the European indie association IMPALA.

Fabienne has now sold her stake in her company Irascible and stepped down from her association role to take on a new leadership position.

For everything Fabienne Schmuki has achieved over the past years, IndieSuisse presents the Special Achievement 2025 Award

The impact award 2025 goes to

The album "Shifting Forms" represents a profound personal and ecological journey. In collaboration with the artist Maryline Auderset, this deep engagement with plants found its way into "Shifting Forms", released on Humus Records. Paints made from plants were created and incorporated into the album’s concept. And last but not least, this newfound love of plants ended up in the cooking pot.

The album is accompanied by a "Snail Tour": instead of playing in a new city every day, the pace is slowed down. A concert means a stay of several days in the host city, shared walks in the woods where edible plants are gathered and later prepared and eaten together. Spending time together.

This album is not just a release. It is a fusion of voice, environment, community and craftsmanship.
