Summer holidays are wonderful. We enjoy our time off. But being back on stage is even better 🤩 On September 11, we open the new season with "Oiseaux Rebelles". This double bill features, among other works, Mats Ek’s "Carmen".

Our fledglings have spread their wings ... At the close of this season, we bid farewell to several members of our Junior Ballet. 💝

While saying goodbye is never easy, we are delighted to see these young dancers embark on the next chapter of their careers - with renowned companies such as The Royal Ballet, Nederlands Dans Theater, The Norwegian National Ballet or the Vienna State Ballet. And, as every year, one former Junior continues with Ballet Zurich as a guest dancer. 🎉

Next season, our Junior Ballet celebrates its 25th anniversary. Over the past quarter-century, it has become an indispensable pillar of our commitment to nurturing the next generation of dancers. We celebrate this with a new production:

"Art Matters" - with choreographies by Aleix Martínez and Houston Thomas.
