For the second time, HEKAYA steps into the daylight. Usually a night gathering in the club, this edition once again unfolds as a day into night journey at a true piece of Zurich nightlife history, Palais Mascotte, first opened in 1916 and reborn with a new concept in January 2026. We’re excited to bring HEKAYA to this iconic venue in the heart of the city at Zurich Bellevue.

Expect a powerful lineup with a diverse sound experience, mainly local selectors joined by Olive T from Geneva. Lexx, one of the most talented and experienced DJs from Zurich, goes back-to-back with Ayele, an outstanding selector with a deep musical sensitivity and powerful presence behind the decks. Olive T brings her groovy energy from Geneva and we’re delighted to welcome her for the first time at a HEKAYA event.

KAYYAK and Bobby Tessa, the hosts of HEKAYA, are pleased to guide the night and make you dance. Bobby Tessa opens the gathering, marking his first time playing at a HEKAYA event.

KALABRESE & KAYYAK / MANU

This Friday 🖤

Kalabrese and KAYYAK are two central voices in Zurich’s electronic music scene and long-time friends and collaborators. Kalabrese, co-founder of the legendary but now permanently closed Club Zukunft, has built a reputation as a DJ, producer, and bandleader with a uniquely soulful flavour. His work spans indie-dance, house, disco, afro, funk and more. Early in his career, he released “Rumpelzirkus” and later “Independent Dancer”, both of which helped define his signature Rumpel-groove and songwriting. As a good friend to HEKAYA, he has supported, inspired, and influenced the label from the start, and remains a key part of the platform. He also acts as a mentor and frequent studio collaborator to KAYYAK, shaping music together and pushing each other creatively. KAYYAK, a co-founder of HEKAYA, is known for DJ-sets prized for their openness, warmth, and musical curiosity, exploring afro, funk and soulful textures with personal energy and emotional depth. This Friday, KAYYAK will perform live with his Dreaming Place Band, which also features Kalabrese, at Club Hive to open the 7-year HEKAYA anniversary at 22:00. Young and emerging music selector MANU will open the Tanzstube floor from 1:00 to 3:00 AM, bringing a rich selection of musical treasures, weaving Jazz, Reggae, Drum & Bass, Afro, and Deep House, showcasing his talent and potential while drawing on inspiration from attending HEKAYA events. Following this, KAYYAK and Kalabrese will continue the journey with an extended set in the Tanzstube floor starting at 3:00 AM and running until the end, promising a night of unforgettable music and celebration.
