KAZU KAZU blends Japanese art and social history to create modern textile transformations. The fashion label is focused on custom made Couture collections for women.

Our label explores the intersection of art, fashion, and culture, redefining boundaries with unique aesthetics. Driven by Japanese aesthetics and Swiss quality, Kazu's creations reflect a wearable symbiosis of both cultures.

I am honoured to be among the nine women featured in The Forgotten Her Story, a new publication initiated by Manuela Wirth and published by Hauser & Wirth Publishers.

At the heart of my chapter is a conversation with my mother, Miwako Huggler-Yasuda, reflecting on my roots between Japan and Switzerland and the freedom she gave me to discover my own path.

My sincere thanks to Manuela Wirth, Claudia Delgado and everyone behind the publication for bringing these stories together with such care and sensitivity.

Kimono Renaissance
by Kazu Huggler

Private presentation in Paris.

With gratitude for the warm welcome, the conversations, and the deep interest in the TAN Signature Collection.

After more than two decades of working with historical kimono textiles, this moment feels like a deepening of my work in cultural mediation through clothing.

A new chapter begins.

Material, memory, transformation.

Homecoming in Japan.

A few days with my mother.

The house, the garden, the sea and the wind.

Roots in the earth, gathering strength for what grows next.
