La comida frugal is a magnificent etching created by Picasso in 1904.

Eighty-eight years later, a six-year-old girl could not stop looking at this work of art, printed in an old book. She tried to copy it, to imitate it, over and over again. Already at the age of 6, this rather mischievous but also somewhat melancholic child didn't know whether to define this fixation: love or obsession.

Those lost glances, those thin and mannerist bodies, that austere, dark, melancholic space, that small light that invited me to imagine a light bulb faintly illuminating a certain hope..... How many things one single image was able to tell me!
I guess that's Art.

Who would have thought then that this little black kid, affectionately known as T**i, would one day be able to draw her little obsession on the skin of another human being.
On his heart, no less. Thank you Lukas, for asking me for this very special piece that holds so many nuances and emotions.
I am sure it will protect and guard the most vulnerable, deepest and most generous part of your being.
