Two days of musical improv, many songs, many bold choices, and one very clear reminder:
Before the lyrics, before the choreo, before the perfect button — there is the team.
Ali’s biggest point was also the least technical: connection.
Eyes up.
Soft focus.
Scan constantly.
Pass early.
Make your intention clear.
Keep it simple enough that everyone can “share one brain.”
We worked on singing in images instead of explanations, responding in the moment instead of pre-planning, grounding the body, ending songs with purpose, and committing fully — even when the honest mistake appears.
