Remember that health is a sum of many different parts… here are my most important tips that I try to do daily 😉

• Nourish your body with tons of organic plant based foods, with some good quality protein (small wild fish, organic eggs or well sourced meats or non processed vegetarian protein)
• regular stays in nature
• enough sleep
• enough relaxation
• positive thoughts
• sunlight
• sports and exercise
• lots of water
• digital breaks

Winter is coming… and along with it comes its winter bugs 🦠🦠🦠 we all love so much 🙄🙄🙄

So here are a few of my tips to survive through a cold faster :

1️⃣ rest and sleep : you guessed it sleep wins number one again. One of the main reasons we fall sick to begin with is often linked to lack of sleep or poor sleep. When we are tired, our immunity goes down and leaves the door wide open to viral infections…

2️⃣ hydration: make sure to stay especially well hydrated to help your body flush out toxins. Like drink A LOT of water…

3️⃣ movement : ok this one is very simple.
If you have fever, DO NOT WORKOUT. Simple. Go for a nap instead!
If you are not feeling 💯 but no fever and not extreme fatigue then movement can actually help to fight off the disease faster. Go for gentle movement, such as yoga, stretching or a walk. Do not over fatigue yourself and listen to your body.

4️⃣ vitamin c and supplements can help you reduce the length of the cold. Try taking vitamin c with a glass of water every 2h. Taking extra vitamin d can also help. Taking zinc can support faster recovery but be cautious about not taking too much as zinc overdose can lead to serious health problems, so stay under 40mg per day.

5️⃣ ginger 🫚 juice : i basically have this all through winter and it really helps to reduce inflammation, so you can either press the ginger roots, or boil in water or simply blend and pass through a sieve and add a little honey 🍯 to sweeten your tea or your shot!

Finally learn to be patient with your body.. healing takes time… 🧘🏻‍♀️
