More shots of the Heinkel He 219 A-7 „Uhu“ nightfighter. Tamiya‘s kit in 1/48 was a joy to build, it practically built itself. The camo and markings were achieved by cutting my own stencils on a Silhouette Cameo 4.

Welcome to my page! I‘m glad you‘re here!

My name’s Joe and I‘m a hobby scalemodeller from Switzerland. Building mainly aircaft in 1/48th scale, I do like to dabble in other things from time to time. To this date it has only ever been plastic model kits though.

My preferred subject to build is WW2 era warbirds. Sometimes I like to mix it up with something from the jet age or even a biplane here or there. I‘m still very much at the beginning pf my model building „career“, constantly learning new things, techniques, tricks and stuff about colours, materials etc.

What I would like this page to be, is a platform for me to connect interested people like yourself with what I do, share it with you, exchange knowledge and experiences, and possibly, if you are so inclined, build a commission for you.

Tamiya‘s 1/48th Heinkel He 219 „Uhu“, a German WW2 nightfighter. Built completely out of the box, it is a very good kit which I can wholeheartedly recommend.
