Pay attention for the methodology: collaboration and immersion!

Back in 2016, I was already exploring dance, projection, sound, and real-time generative visuals. Looking at this material again now, I’m struck by how some older tools were incredibly simple and powerful.

BAZIK was one of them. It now feels like part of a kind of software archaeology.

Is it worth rebuilding this kind of instrument with shaders through vibe coding?

18 years playing with Arduino.

Started with a breadboard, wires everywhere, and zero idea what I was doing.

Then I taught programmers to solder. Then I moved to Switzerland. Then AI happened.

And somehow, in 2026, I ended up with paper and scissors.

Still chaos. But now it folds.

This Saturday — Arduino Day 2026.

What if paper could sing, light up, or respond to your touch?
Paper circuits. Dirty prototype. Public debugging.

On Arduino Day 2026, School of Tomorrow’s AI hosts a free hybrid micro-lab in Wetzikon, Zürich — and live on Twitch.
We’ll build live — step by step, mistake by mistake.
Four hours of dirty prototyping, fast thinking, and public experimentation with paper electronics.

On March 15th, four women sat in a room in Wetzikon and talked about AI for three hours without running out of questions.

We are artists, designers, researchers, and builders. We use AI differently, think about it differently, and worry about it differently. That’s exactly why it was worth gathering.

A few things we kept coming back to: the tension between authorship and output. The way voice and language shape who AI “speaks to” — and who it leaves out. Whether the most interesting AI interfaces might not be screens at all. And what it means to have a creative practice in a moment when tools are moving faster than intention.

We didn’t resolve any of it. We’re not supposed to.
This was the first gathering of Women Making with AI at School of Tomorrow’s AI. The next one is in May, in Zug.

If these questions live in you too — join us. 🌱

Built this today during SheBuilds for International Women’s Day.

Instead of using AI to make more content, what if we used it to translate emotion into light?

So I built a poetic interface that transforms emotional text into light, then connected it locally to a physical LED cloud.

Built with Lovable and Anthropic.

The Man of Clouds ☁️
A little tribute to Luis Leão — I’ve been building (and improvising) with him since 2012. He always convinces me to start with almost nothing — wire, teddy-bear stuffing, addressable LEDs — and end up with a rich experience. Cheap materials, generous magic.

Now this cloud lives in the kitchen, connected to our Home Assistant at the school (we welcome visitors!)

Next step: what should it sense and translate into light? Weather? studio brainstorms? my daily moods?

Drop your wild ideas 👇

This experiment explores how particle systems can move from a browser-based interaction into mixed reality, using WebXR directly on Meta Quest 3.

The setup combines Three.js for rendering and WebXR hand input for gesture-based control, without relying on Unity or native builds.
The trigger came from testing AI-assisted 3D generation workflows and realizing that browser-based prototypes could migrate into spatial contexts with minimal friction.

Particles became the testing ground: abstract enough to scale, precise enough to feel embodied.

An ongoing exploration of browser-first mixed reality as a sketching medium for creative technology and learning.

Visited the Sony CSL Lab in Paris, where basil, bacteria, and electricity coexist inside a circular ecosystem called Mi-Hy.

A project that reminds me how collaboration — whether between humans or microbes — is always an act of co-creation.

There is a Brazilian in the team! I’m so proud of Lenon Modesto. Thanks Günter for the invitation!

What happens when scientists, artists, and machines share the same table?

Maybe not answers — but better questions.

✳️ Eduardo Padilha reminded us that childhood dreams can turn into adult questions.
✳️ Julie Venn turned her gaze from the stars to the mind, discovering constellations within.
✳️ And Will kept the questions alive.

Grateful for this generous and curious conversation at Casa Firjan, during the Futuros Possíveis Festival — a space where minds, machines, and matter could meet through imagination and dialogue.

🎥 I was told the session was recorded and will be shared soon — looking forward to revisiting it.

From data to living materials — exploring how we prototype the future through biohybrid thinking.

I’ll be at iGEM Villages 2025 (Paris) for The Biohybridization Process panel alongside , , and .design

Let’s keep building, hacking, and imagining together.

Nature as Network.

Together with Fadri Pestalozzi, we built a satellite antenna for an environmental monitoring station — transmitting data from rivers and skies. Thanks to amazing ACQUA team!

Yes, I’m an artist, a data scientist, and a thinker who also works with metal, cables, and code.
Turning complex ideas into working prototypes that connect ecology and technology.

✅ Signal tested. Data transmitted.
