I was barely 2 years old when Tom Morey officially launched the brand . It wasn’t until 1987 that I discovered the sport. So today, shooting this new campaign celebrating the brand’s 55th anniversary makes me realize just how incredible and unfairly underrated bodyboarding truly is.
While it’s certainly one of the most accessible activity in the ocean, with practice and experience it becomes one of the most radical sports out there. Reaching such a milestone while still remaining the most popular bodyboarding brand in the world is an incredible achievement.
Happy Anniversary to the legendary Morey Boogie.

I don’t really post images of bodyboarding for the simple reason that I’d rather be in the water finding balance with Mother Nature than exercising my actual job. But for once, I was invited and ask by my dears friends at to shoot some flics while enjoying a very memorable weekend at .bay . I couldn’t resist sharing this particular shot of someone I can now be proud to call my friend. Few years back, as I decided to jump on a bodyboard after 30 years, while checking the progression of the sport , my attention got captivated by this guy who immediately blowed my mind. His style and ex*****on was just different. Even though I will never surf like he does, his style became my main influence. There are a very few man who has changed the face of their respective sport and simply did. 📸 by yours truly
