Echoes of Freedom revient les 10 et 11 juin à l’Usine.   Deux jours pour créer, danser, débattre et faire résonner les luttes palestiniennes et soudanaises à travers l’art, la musique et la création.  Au programme : •⁠ Un grand marché des créateuricexs (avec plus 40 exposantexs)  •⁠ Une conférence, une table ronde interasso et un atelier pour les jeunes •⁠ Une programmation musicale qui célèbre la scène locale: concerts lives et DJ sets, des artistes engagéexs aux styles multiples qui se produiront au Rez, Zoo et Douze. ⁠ •⁠ De la nourriture, à prix-libre sur les deux jours  Tous les fonds seront entièrement reversés à deux associations palestinienne et soudanaise qui luttent chaque jour contre la colonisation, les violences sexistes et les logiques impérialistes.  Echoes of Freedom affirme une chose essentielle : nos sociétés occidentales participent, directement ou indirectement, aux violences, aux guerres et aux injustices qui frappent le Sud global.

We should all be grateful for what Claude Nobs has done for all of us in music, for Switzerland 🇨🇭 and for international music in general.

Back in 2006, I founded my agency after DJ-ing for 3 years on the lake shores of . Special thanks to and !

From backstage meetings with , , and , to hanging around with legends like and — I will never forget the opportunities that Claude Nobs and MJF gave me.

And one moment I’ll always treasure: Claude used to play for the staff every year after the festival. The day I met him, he was spinning this Bart Simpson vinyl — and I was just amazed that he had it on vinyl. That’s the kind of musical big heart he had. 🙏
