🇮🇹 E' passato quasi un anno dal primo muro dipinto, ma la magia del percorso della Triennale di Maroggia è rimasta pressoché invariata.

🇮🇹 Oggi vogliamo parlarvi dell’ultimo dittico murale realizzato da , il duo ticinese composto da Christian Rebecchi e Pablo Togni. “Bracketing” si trova a Jarville-la-Malgange in Francia ed è stato curato da . Come ogni volta, i due artisti sono riusciti a sorprendere con il loro nuovo intervento urbano di grande formato. I spiegano che la posizione dei due muri, vicini ma rivolti in direzioni diverse, rimanda ad una sorta di album fotografico, al confine tra la realtà e la sua percezione, dove il gesto di scattare una fotografia diventa un atto di possesso, una limitazione, ma richiama l’attenzione su qualcosa che deve essere osservato e salvaguardato. Attraverso giochi di cornici, proporzioni e giustapposizioni di immagini tridimensionali, i due artisti ancora una volta mettono in luce il tema ambientale e il complesso rapporto tra uomo e natura, tra progresso industriale ed ambiente.

As every time, the two artists managed to surprise with their new large-scale urban intervention. explain that the position of the two walls, close together but facing in different directions, refers to a sort of photo album, on the border between reality and its perception, where the act of taking a photograph becomes an act of possession, a limitation, but draws attention to something that must be observed and safeguarded. Through play of frames, proportions and juxtapositions of three-dimensional images, the two artists once again highlight the environmental theme and the complex relationship between man and nature, between industrial progress and the environment.

🇮🇹 Nato a Barcellona, elxupetnegre / streetartist] ha riempito le strade, dapprima in Spagna e poi in Europa e in America, con la sua arte e in particolare il suo “logo”, un ciuccio nero. Proprio grazie a questo viene definito un precursore della Logo-Art: il suo logo non solo colora le pareti, ma vuole mandare anche un messaggio di rispetto, pace, uguaglianza e libertà agli osservatori. 🇮🇹 Una delle nostre artiste, , ha preso parte ad un bellissimo progetto ideato da . BEIT invita scultori, designer di mobili, gioiellieri e stilisti a reimmaginare la loro forma d'arte applicandola a oggetti su misura per la casa, prodotti quasi esclusivamente in Libano. Kelly Halabi, proprio di origini franco-libanesi, ha creato un servizio da tavola che include oggetti come tovagliette, portatovaglioli e piatti, che traducono perfettamente la sua arte pittorica e scultorea. Trasformando il metallo di scarto in scultura, l'artista ci invita a cercare la bellezza estetica anche in materiali più comuni come le stoviglie. La parola BEIT è una traduzione diretta della parola 'HOME' in arabo e Kelly Halabi, attraverso i suoi pezzi unici, è sicuramente riuscita a riconnettersi con le sue origini mediorientali!

🇬🇧 One of our artists, , took part in a beautiful project developed by . BEIT invites sculptors, furniture designers, jewellers and stylists to reimagine their art form by applying it to bespoke homeware, almost exclusively produced in Lebanon. Of French-Lebanese origins, Kelly Halabi has created a table service that includes objects such as placemats, napkin rings and plates, which perfectly translate her pictorial and sculptural art. By transforming scrap metal into sculpture, the artist invites us to seek aesthetic beauty even in more common materials such as tableware. The word BEIT is a direct translation of the Arabic word 'HOME' and Kelly Halabi, through her unique pieces, has certainly managed to reconnect with her Middle Eastern origins!

Lo street artist ticinese, nato a Cadenazzo, focalizza la sua arte sullo studio e l’elaborazione delle lettere, che poi applica direttamente nelle sue opere come tratto distintivo. 🇮🇹 Definito anche “filosofo del nastro adesivo”, No Curves è considerato uno dei maggiori rappresentanti a livello internazionale della Tape Art, ovvero l’arte di disegnare con il nastro adesivo. L’opera “The Man Who Fell to Earth” è un bellissimo omaggio a David Bowie che ripercorre gran parte della carriera dell’artista inglese attraverso la mano distintiva di No Curves: uno stile geometrico dettato dall’utilizzo del nastro adesivo, angoli e linee rette.

🇮🇹 Gli artisti che hanno preso parte alla Triennale di Maroggia non si fermano mai. Chromeo Spreadcolor] , artista nato e cresciuto a Winterthur, ha partecipato ad un interessante progetto in collaborazione con la Posta Svizzera a febbraio. L’artista è riuscito a portare la sua arte anche sui francobolli: ha creato il timbro ufficiale CHROMEO swiss per dare un tocco di colore e originalità alle lettere. Chromeo cerca sempre di coinvolgere lo spettatore nelle sue opere attraverso un confronto attivo e anche in questo progetto è sicuramente riuscito a catturare l’attenzione! Chromeo Spreadcolor] , an artist born and raised in Winterthur, participated in an interesting project in collaboration with the Swiss Post in February. 🇮🇹 Pro176, tra i pionieri del graffitismo in Francia, da sempre basa la sua arte su una sperimentazione continua di linguaggi estetici. Tra le maggiori influenze riflesse nelle sue opere troviamo il celebre fumettista Jack Kirby e il mondo Marvel, così come le decostruzioni provienienti dal cubismo.
Come in tutti i suoi lavori, anche questo acrilico vivace racchiude un mondo fatto di fumetti, writing, e graffitismo. I colori accesi e i contorni neri definiti, tratti tipici dell’artista, sono la soluzione perfetta per dare un tocco di colore alle vostre pareti di casa.

🇬🇧 Pro176, one of the pioneers of graffiti art in France, has always based his art on continuous experimentation with aesthetic languages. Among the major influences reflected in his works there are the famous comic book artist Jack Kirby and the Marvel world, as well as deconstructions from Cubism.

🇮🇹 Il percorso artistico di Giacomo (Jack) Braglia] , giovane artista ticinese, ha già un respiro internazionale, fatto di esposizioni, eventi e collaborazioni importanti. Uno tra i nostri preferiti è il progetto “The Twin Bottles: Message in a Bottle” del 2019 che lo ha visto lavorare con lo scultore internazionale Helidon Xhixha.
Mossi dalla volontà di scagliare la loro denuncia contro l’inquinamento dei mari dovuto alla dispersione della plastica, i due artisti hanno dato vita ad una grande installazione ambientale pensata per abitare in acqua. La bottiglia in acciaio rivestita dalle fotografie dell’artista ha lo scopo di sensibilizzare i visitatori ad un uso più consapevole e limitato della plastica. L’arte è uno tra i più potenti mezzi di riflessione, e Jack ci riesce costantemente.

🇬🇧 Giacomo (Jack) Braglia] ‘s artistic career, a young artist from Ticino, already has an international scope, made up of exhibitions, events and important collaborations. One of our favourites is the 2019 project "The Twin Bottles: Message in a Bottle", a proposal which saw him work with the international sculptor Helidon Xhixha. Motivated by the denunciation of seas’pollution by plastic dispersion, the two artists created a large environmental installation designed to inhabit water. The steel bottle covered with the artist's photographs is intended to make visitors aware of a more conscious and limited use of plastic. Art is one of the most powerful means of reflection, and Jack consistently succeeds in this sense.

🇮🇹 Nei lavori di Raul, artista italiano, la gestualità primitiva è l’elemento chiave per tradurre le emozioni. Tra le maggiori fonti di ispirazione della sua produzione troviamo la musica.
“Portraits 24”, opera che fa parte di una serie intitolata “George”, in onore di George Micheal, esprime perfettamente questa influenza. L’artista, durante i mesi di quarantena del 2020, si è lasciato guidare dalla musica del cantante, che ha dato forma alla sua pittura, generando una tecnica pittorica energica e calda.
Tutte le opere della serie sono accomunate dallo stesso soggetto, ma i colori utilizzati sono sempre diversi e rendono unica ogni tela.

🇬🇧 In Raul’s works, an Italian artist, primitive gesture is the key element to translate emotions. One of the main sources of inspiration for his art is music.
“Portraits 24”, an artwork that is part of a series entitled "George", in honour of George Micheal, perfectly expresses this influence. The artist let himself be guided by the singer's music during the quarantine months of 2020, which shaped his painting, generating an energetic and warm painting technique.
All the works in the series share the same subject, but the colours used are always different and make each canvas unique.
