The gallery was created on the basis of quarantine and coping with closure in the home environment. The gallery is a mirror of how a person deals with the situation and how necessarily we need to transform the immediate surroundings in order to replace what is missing.
An exhibition can be created everywhere, building an exhibition space can be anything that an artist or curator considers right, so why not start at home?

I decided to choose to occupy the kitchen. Kitchen has become my second studio, not only because I "diligently and creatively" cook and clean here, but also because I try to devote myself to my field, so I decided to bring art to the kitchen.

The gallery "Drei Stockwerke" is a three-storey gallery built in the kitchen, was opened on May 3, 2020.
Markéta Jáchimová opened the first exhibition "Locked Down" with a vernissage with online participation of artists and spectators on April 5, 2020.

This group exhibition consists of six European artists: Remy Markowitsch (CH, 1957), Luca Schenardi (CH, 1978), Stepan Capek (D, 1983), Sarka Koudelkova (CZ, 1987), and the artistic duo Amos and Veli (CH , 1986) and (SLO, 1983). The set of works is a selection from the private collection of KG home Luzern.
The concept of the exhibition is to cope with the personal size of the ego and the environment in which we live. The works of art deal with social differences, historical contexts and political issues of today. The installation of the exhibition is focused on sculptural work, large-format painting, photography and architectural spatial expressions in the limitation of space.
The viewer is drawn into the space, and looks only ahead and to the sides and ceiling. The limitations of the gallery do not give him the opportunity to look behind him - into space into the real world. The architecture of the gallery is an illusion of space in space and at the same time a subtle metaphor of a window to the world, a window to reality. The advantage of the gallery is that we can close this window and stay between the four walls. As if we shut ourselves in front of reality.
