Natürlich sind Verkäufe für einen Künstler wichtig. Aber vielleicht ist eine noch größere Belohnung, solche Nachrichten zu erhalten.

Wenn man erkennt, dass das eigene Werk Teil des Lebens eines anderen Menschen geworden ist. Dass die Menschen es jeden Tag sehen, morgens daran vorbeigehen, abends wieder zu ihm zurückkehren und eine emotionale Verbindung dazu aufbauen.

Für mich ist das besonders berührend, denn jedes meiner Gemälde ist eine sehr persönliche Offenbarung — eine Emotion, ein Gemütszustand, auf die Leinwand übertragen.

Und irgendwann wird es Teil der Geschichte eines anderen Menschen.

Vielleicht ist genau das der Grund, warum Kunst geschaffen wird! &

Of course, sales matter to an artist. But perhaps an even greater reward is receiving messages like this.

When you realize that your work has entered someone’s life. That people see it every day, pass by it in the morning, return to it in the evening, and form an emotional connection with it.

For me, this is especially touching because each of my paintings is a very personal revelation — an emotion, a state of mind, transferred onto canvas.

And at some point, it becomes part of someone else’s story.

Perhaps this is exactly what art is created for !
