Retro Rat Pixel Art Retro Video Game 3D Dioramas I’m Riaan, a stay-at-home Dad and Husband living in beautiful Switzerland with my wife and two wild and wonderful young boys.

When I’m not chasing them around, I’m in the studio crafting these layered little worlds, shadowbox dioramas inspired by the games and cards we all know and love. This is also my passion project brought to life, handcrafted shadowbox dioramas built from some of the most unforgettable moments in gaming. From old-school classics to newer favourites, each piece is layered by hand to give those pixel-

perfect scenes real depth and a ton of heart. I’ve been creating dioramas since 2017, and over the years, I’ve sold my work through local online platforms and at retro gaming craft markets and conventions across Switzerland. New this season: I’ve also started turning trading card games into layered dioramas! Whether it’s a card you’ve always loved or one you just pulled from a pack, now it can live on your shelf in full 3D glory. If you’ve got a favourite game or card that’s close to your heart, I’d love to help bring it to life in shadowbox form. This is all about celebrating the things we grew up with and still love today.
