International Women's Day: Merci Danièle Boutard!

Après mes études à l'Académie des Arts Appliqués à Hambourg- j'ai eu la chance de travailler à l'Atelier de Costumes. Situé 10, Cité Trévise, 75009 Paris, il y a plus que 34 ans. C'était Danièle, ma prémière patronne, qui m'a accueuilli avec générosité et passion, et qui m'a ouvert un univers de costumes. L'année dernière, on s'est retrouvé pour travailler ensemble pour une production de Turandot à Athènes. C'était comme s'il n'y avait pas de temps...Merci Danièle, nous pouvons étudier et rire ensemble! Et on trouve toujours la beauté et la précision.

OPER! AWARDS 2026 - LEBENS- UND EHRENPREIS l Ein Lebensgesamtkunstwerk, das in keine Schublade passt. Fast sämtliche Gewerke hat dieser Künstler bedient, Bühne, Kostüme und Dramaturgie (mit-)geschaffen für mehr als 300 Opern, Schauspiele, Ballette und Operetten, auch selbst Regie geführt. Stets traf er den Punkt, als Perfektionist im Team. Dafür wurde er geliebt, gefürchtet – und stilbildend für eine ganze Schülergeneration. Unzählige Bilder brennen für immer im Gedächtnis. Danke dafür, Jürgen Rose.

Maarit Kalmakurki, OISTAT member, scenographer, and Principal Lecturer from Finland, is preparing an edited volume dedicated to the rapidly growing field of digital costume.

Scholars, designers, educators, and professionals are invited to submit a chapter proposal (max 300 words) along with a short author bio (max 100 words). Share your perspectives on digital costume across computer animation, film, gaming, VR, and other emerging digital media.
