TONIGHT !!!

Very Happy and proud to show my work at

DSC Gallery presents the exhibition Where the World Pauses, bringing together works by four distinctive contemporary artists -, , and .proux
The exhibition Where the World Pauses offers a reflection on the human condition through the relationship between life, nature, and matter. Here, suspended time is not an escape, but a tool for understanding existence in its fragile complexity. The works of the four exhibiting artists form a constellation of transformations and energies, in which beauty and cruelty, unpredictability and control, vulnerability and strength coexist side by side.
The exhibition brings together paintings and works on paper that guide the viewer into a state of quiet observation. In transformed landscapes, uncertain forms, bodies that touch only fleetingly, and gazes oscillating between melancholy and dream, something essential unfolds: the world pauses for a moment, holds its breath, and offers a different way of perceiving time, space, and matter.
The exhibition is curated by .
You can visit the exhibition from 12. 5. to 26. 6. 2026.

Thank you so much to and for our beautiful interview !
And Thank you so much Evan Pricco

« We sat down for an interview that is featured in the current, 2nd issue of magazine. Here are a few excerpts from it:
« It’s an island. An island in Europe. Or, Europe as an island, in a way. But sometimes it could be a bit like the Mediterranean or the south. Two years ago I was cycling down the Danube, and it was beautiful, kind of like the European Mississippi. So it could be this kind of landscape too. But it’s an island because there is a coast. And for me, the coast is a very political place because it’s a border. It’s where migrants arrive before accessing the coast and seeking asylum. Of course, it’s not described realistically, but for me, most of these figures are somewhere between having fun and being survivors, perhaps almost dying. You have the feeling that they could be nudists on holiday, or they’re stranded. So in these Arcadian or dreamlike paintings, you have this ambiguity of where the people are coming from, why they’re so exhausted, whether they’re struggling and having pleasure, or are they fighting or caring for a dead body? - on the scenery of his paintings
« For me, all the things that we are building are related to the size of our bodies. For example, the monumental buildings from N**i Germany, or what’s built these days around White House in the US (laughs), it doesn’t change the size of the human body. So the size can have a political meaning-something gigantic is political, and something tiny can also be political. When I’m doing gigantic body, I know that it has something to do with authoritarianism, I take it problematically, and I will try to do something with that. So, it’s always something that I am thinking about. » - on the scale of his work »

LAST WEEK !!!
‘The pier’ and ‘trust’, oil on canvas, 2025 to see in my solo exhibition ‘Out of the Blue’ in Antwerp at Gnyp Gallery.
‘Rather surprisingly, the strongest connection to the present moment emerges in the more oneiric works, precisely where one would normally expect a dimension outside of time. The second series of paintings is populated by strange human figures, sometimes immersed in a natural setting - though always a strange and unsettling one - and at other times placed in interiors suspended somewhere between the familiar and the dreamlike. Part of the unease we experience stems from the artist’s highly theatrical use of light and shadow. The images seem to evoke Paul Gauguin, yet they are produced in a time when no form of exoticism is truly possible anymore, in a world that has become far too small. At the center of everything, however, are the bodies: bent, deformed, almost on the verge of liquefying. These human figures are subjected to strange torsions or bloodless mutilations!
