Nominee 2026 Canadian Selah Music Awards The SOVA Gospel Mass Choir, an international gospel choir based in Geneva, was founded in 2015 by Sabine Jacquet—founding director of the School of Vocal Arts—and her husband. A defining figure in i
ts story is LaVelle McKinnie Duggan, a jazz and gospel artist from Chicago (Illinois) known worldwide. Her artistic and personal legacy has shaped the choir’s musical identity, which continues to carry her influence today. Regarded as one of Europe’s recognized gospel choirs, the SOVA Gospel Mass Choir has collaborated with many renowned artists, including the icon CeCe Winans, living legend Donald Lawrence, Alphaeus Anderson, Jonathan Nelson, Isaac Cates, Tobbi & Tommi White and more. Sabine and her husband, also founded the International Geneva Gospel Festival, an internationally acclaimed event now entering its fourth edition. With a track record of major stages, the SOVA Gospel Mass Choir has performed at, among others:
