The United Nations in Geneva is having a big party - and you are invited! On Saturday 24 October the gates of the Palais des Nations will be thrown wide open to the public for an Open Day to celebrate our 70th anniversary. The day will have something for everyone (and for every type of weather!) - for children, adults, music fans, art-lovers, historians, foodies, tourists and much more. You can experience a refugee tent, learn about the work of UN orgs in Geneva, from UNICEF to ITU, and take part in a simulation of CERN's Large Hadron Collider.
