One week since our last Edinburgh Fringe performance, and we’re still taking it all in.
There is something slightly absurd about the amount of work, faith and collective effort it takes to bring a cast and crew of 13, from four countries, together for two one-hour performances in Scotland.
And then, somehow, those two hours become much bigger than themselves.
We brought Somewhere, In Between to Edinburgh because we believed these stories deserved to travel. Across two days, 104 people stepped into the room with us. There were conversations, generous words, an Excellent Show rating from FringeReview, and connections we’re still carrying home.
Words written in one place found meaning somewhere else. A small theatre company from Geneva stepped onto the world’s biggest arts festival and belonged there. A play about hope found new people to ask the question with.
Perhaps that’s the purest expression of community we could hope for.
Let’s keep co-creating.
