Last days: “La Girl Guide Hut”—a solo exhibition by Victoria Colmegna—is on view at Galerie Oskar Weiss in Zurich, through July 19.
For this immersive installation, Argentinian artist Victoria Colmegna transforms the gallery into a speculative clubhouse inspired by the psychoanalytical spaces of Melanie Klein. Working with reclaimed dollhouses, pink pigment mounds, watercolours, and hybrid assemblages featuring equestrian and gynecological instruments, Colmegna explores childhood as a site of psychic imprinting, domestic drama, and subversive fantasy.
