Espace Frifemme vous présente sa nouvelle exposition : “Fritunia… l’oracle en toi”. Du 1er septembre au 20 décembre, nous vous invitons à plonger dans l’univers mystique de Fritunia, à la fois guide spirituel, femme sage et diseuse de bonne aventure.

Fritunia est une création signée Ileana Carabat, créatrice d’origine roumaine résidant aux Pays-Bas. Originaire du monde corporate, avec un bagage de 15 ans dans le développement de produits au sein de diverses industries, elle a réinventé son parcours pour une aventure totalement nouvelle.

Fritunia est issue de l’univers de la bande dessinée, et se présente au public pour la première fois à travers un jeu de cartes trés original. Cette exposition unique en son genre, occasionée par le lancement de ce jeux de cartes, fusionne art et ethnologie, vous offrant une immersion dans l’art de la divination avec Fritunia comme votre guide.

My style evolution acording to Friboy 😁...
for me before anything else, art is about having fun and enjoying myself. The most precious art I ever made was the one I made with my son.

When I started my blog, 5 years ago it was not about sharing my art, but to have a story telling platform for all the fun I was having with my son and all the artsy activities we were doing since he was born, and also a self expression instrument for my inner child...so that in moments when things get heavier I can look back and see the important stuff.

I also have a huge amount of creative content on this platform, which I feel does not really help me in my creative pursuits or represent me anymore. I have been posting less and less here.

I've been stubbornly living my life on a basic principle since I quit my first job: if it doesn't bringing me joy, it is not for me. Since then I have been unapologetically divorcing all the situations that made me feel stuck because joy holds the vibration of flow that has always moved me on the path of my destiny and better things.

So this is me peacefully divorcing facebook 😁.

Thank you for following me here, I will not be posting anymore on this platform (unless Mark Zuckerberg suffers a sudden unexpected enlightenment).

You can still follow me on Instagram and TikTok. And I will be making a major update on my platform every month, to which you can subscribe.

Having so much fun with these portraits based on my son's drawings.

I am gifting art to my son's teachers every year and for this year he drew their portraits and I painted them.

I have a lot of respect and gratitude for teachers, for people dedicating their lives to teaching others, especially children.

It is such a tough job and an every day commitment to show up for someone else. It's so hard to show up for ourselves on a daily basis, but when we do it for others, I like to think it makes the universe smile and stars burn brighter.

A couple of years ago I bought a painting that, I did not know at the time, would carry a hidden story. I unearthed this painting last week and its story came to life and it needed to be told.

So here it is, a tribute to Adele Wasseige and all the women who could not or did not dare to be more than what was expected of them.

Ending a day of hiking in the region of Gruyeres by a visit at Espace Frifemme in La Roche feels like a deep and comfortable exhale because art and nature go hand in hand. Try it!

Here is a suggestion for you:

Drive or take the buss to Jaun - hike to the Jaun waterfall - visit the old church (The Cantorama, dating from 1228) stop by the Buchs bakery for goodies - hike up to the Jaun caves - drive back via La Roche - visit Espace Frifemme
