Since 1983 the Belluard Bollwerk has been opening creative spaces during 10 days at the beginning of summer for artists and audiences, for newcomers and established ones, for people from Fribourg and guests from all over the world. The main venue of the festival

is a medieval bulwark, which gave it its name. Here, as well as in other places all over town, artistic projects of all genres and disciplines are presented. New creations are just as important as the presentation of selected guest productions. Calling the bilingual city of Fribourg at the interface of the German and the French speaking part of Switzerland its home, the festival connects the local and the global. The intimate scale of the event and the welcoming festival center lead to encounters and an experience of community.

 At the 43rd festival edition of the festival and under the title underground complicities, Belluard Bollwerk continues its artistic research on land and earth by exploring the multiple layers, sediments and abysses of the underground and the possible ties and complicities between below and above. We welcome you all with open hearts and much excitement from 25 June to 4 July 2026!

This year again, Belluard Bollwerk has worked with Pauline Mayor and Loïc Volkart from figures.club to create a new visual identity, rooted in underground complicities. The first elements can be seen on our website and social media 👀

 Mit seiner 43. Ausgabe und unter dem Titel underground complicities (Komplizitäten des Untergrunds) setzt das Belluard Bollwerk seine künstlerische Auseinandersetzung mit Land und Erde fort – und richtet den Blick auf die vielschichtigen Ebenen, Sedimente und Abgründe des Untergrunds sowie dieKompliz*innenschaften zwischen dem, was unter und über der Oberfläche liegt. Mit offenen Herzen und grosser Vorfreude erwarten wir Sie vom 25. Juni bis zum 4. Juli 2026.

Gemeinsam mit Pauline Mayor und Loïc Volkart von figures.club hat das Belluard Bollwerk eine neuf visuelle Identität für dieses Jahr erarbeitet, die in den Komplizitäten des Untergrunds verwurzelt ist. Die ersten Elemente sind auf unserer Website und in unseren sozialen Netzwerken zu sehen 👀

 Pour sa 43e édition, intitulée underground complicities (complicités souterraines), le Belluard Bollwerk poursuit sa recherche artistique autour de la terre et du sol en explorant les multiples strates, sédiments et abysses du sous-sol, ainsi que les relations et complicités qu’entretiennent le monde souterrain et la surface. Le cœur ouvert et avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme, nous nous réjouissons de vous accueillir du 25 juin au 4 juillet 2026 !  Pour découvrir le programme de cette 43e édition, rendez-vous aux moments suivants :

🐞 UN STAGE AU BB ? 🐞

Pour compléter son équipe, le Belluard Bollwerk recherche un·e·x stagiaire en communication et production pour assister les responsables de ces domaines et collaborer à la réalisation du festival.

📍 Lieu de travail : Fribourg, Ancienne-Gare et Forteresse du Belluard
🗓️ Durée du stage : du 16 mars au 10 juillet
🕰️ Taux d’activité : mars 60%, avril 80%, juin 100%, juillet 100%
💎 Rémunération : CHF 1’500.- (brut) pour un 100%

Pour compléter sa petite équipe, le Belluard Bollwerk recherche un·e·x responsable administration pour soutenir la direction et assurer la mise en place des conditions permettant la réalisation du festival.

📍Lieu de travail : Fribourg
🗓️ Entrée en fonction : Idéalement le 1er décembre 2025 ou à convenir
🕰️ Taux d’activité : 70%-80% annualisé, à discuter
