1st Prize — Ochsenmatt School, Menzingen.

A compact timber structure reconnects the different levels of the campus, shaping a continuous relationship between learning spaces, landscape and movement.

A continuous “portico” shapes the ground floor,
offering shelter, extending movement, and inviting everyday life to pass naturally through the building.

The project does not work through separation, but through continuity: between kindergarten and school,
between interior and open ground,
between architecture and everyday life.

We are looking for a junior profile to join our atelier and grow within our visual process.

You will be involved in architectural competitions and selected projects, working on atmosphere, composition and image construction alongside the team.

We are looking for someone with a sensitive eye and a strong interest in architecture. Technical skills are important, but what matters most is the ability to observe, understand and translate a project into an image.

Requirements
– Basic 3D modelling skills, 3D Studio Max
– Good post-production workflows, Photoshop.
– Attention to detail and composition
– A genuine interest in architecture and competitions
– Ability to work within a team and meet deadlines

The position is based in Florence, with an initial period working closely in the studio.

Transformation of the Stavia site

A historical and heritage building reactivated after more than twenty years of abandonment.
The project carefully restores the existing structure and its protected park, introducing a new residential volume carefully positioned within the landscape.

The intervention works on continuity:
between old and new,
between the station plateau and the city,
between architecture and landscape.

A public stair reconnects the site, while the park becomes a shared ground, preserving its existing trees and atmosphere.

Within a circular frame, the composition is forced into balance. The sky opens on the left, light and distance, while the right condenses into rock and mass. A diagonal path connects these conditions, guiding the eye and positioning the figures as a measure of space. Depth emerges through light, dissolving the background while grounding the foreground. Even reduced, the structure remains.

This is not only painting. It shows how an image can be built. The same logic can be applied to architectural images: placing a mass on one side, opening space on the other, and using light to create depth. It is a simple structure, but it holds the entire image together.
