Yesterday, my exhibition came to an end with the completion of the takedown.
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by, and also for the many warm messages I received.

It seems that almost all of the whales have found their way to new homes.

This beautiful photograph was taken by photographer Mariko Kajiwara.
There are actually many more wonderful photos, but I hope this one gives you a sense of the atmosphere of the Magic Show Window at Ramstein optik.

This was my fourth time exhibiting in this show window, and I truly love this space where the outside world and what is inside blend together without any barriers.

昨日、個展の搬出が無事に終わりました。
ご来店くださった皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。
また、たくさんの温かいメッセージも、とても嬉しく拝見しました。

クジラさんたちは、ほぼ全員がそれぞれの帰る場所を見つけてくれたようです。

この素敵な写真は、写真家の梶原真理子さんに撮っていただきました。
本当はもっと素敵な写真がたくさんあるのですが、このマジックショーウィンドウの雰囲気が、少しでも皆さんに伝われば嬉しいです。

このショーウィンドウでの展示は今回で4回目になります。
外の人々と、中にあるものとが、わけ隔てなく溶け合うこの空間が、私はいつも大好きです。

また、いつかお会いする日まで。

Whale 52 – A Quiet Story After

A new whisper has reached my ear
about “the loneliest whale in the world.”

At the same moment in time,
yet rising from a far and distant sea,
another 52-hertz voice was heard.

Perhaps the song we believed
to be solitary for so long
was truly a duet —
two faint calls
searching for one another across the deep.

The Earth rests softly
in the gentle embrace of the sea.

Die Geschichte von Wal 52 – ein leiser Nachhall
Man vernahm ein neues Flüstern
über den „einsamsten Wal der Welt“.

Zur selben Stunde,
doch aus einem fernen, fremden Meer,
stieg ein zweiter Ruf von 52 Hertz empor.

Vielleicht war jenes Lied,
das man so lange für allein hielt,
in Wahrheit ein Zwiegesang —
zwei ferne Stimmen,
die sich heimlich über die Weiten des Ozeans suchten.

Die Erde liegt still
in den sanften Armen des Meeres.
