Throwback to this year’s with and Leolie Greet.

Hidden in one of the underground rooms of the vacant office space, Leolie Greet’s video work sweated like an office worker with no AC. Additionally, an edition of paper cups by RELAX (chiarenza & hauser & co) infiltrated the different bars, not as a commodity but a vehicle for thought. And the work “human resources” hung quietly, pointing to the boundary between value and disposability.

We are thrilled to announce our participation in this year’s with Zurich-based collective RELAX (chiarenza & hauser & co) and Bieler artist Leolie Greet.

An edition of paper cups infiltrates all the different bars, not as a commodity but a vehicle for thought – a disposable object in a disposable economy. Additionally, the work “human resources” points to the fragile boundary between value and disposability.

As part of the Carte Blanche taking place annually at the Reformierte Kirchgemeinde in Biel/Bienne, KRONE COURONNE invited artist Axel Crettenand .crettenand to present a new version of his apparatus “Chaotic Arrangement”.

This installation interweaves science with a renewed form of spirituality. Through catalytic and thermal processes, the liquid contained within a device transforms information into sound—a choir of voices emerging from an undefined liminal space. Enhanced by the church’s vault, “Chaotic Arrangement” resonates like a mantra throughout the opening hours.

Carte Blanche is an initiative of the Reformed City Church of Biel offering artists a unique space for expression.

Last December 2025, we closed our Biel/Bienne chapter, and yesterday we returned the keys 🔑🧡

We feel blessed by our beautiful team, collaborators and all the artists who have worked with us during our 5-year programme, and the community that formed and supported us throughout the years.

KRONE COURONNE continues as a nomadic platform and offers funding and production support to cultural workers. Through punctual exhibitions and events, we will continue our mission to foster an exchange between the different linguistic landscapes of the Swiss contemporary art scene.

Onwards and upwards. Stay tuned.

For the closing of our Biel/Bienne chapter in Obergasse 1, we hosted a listening session by Geo (Basel) in the backroom SOMA and a performance by Mads Bycroft (Marseille).

SOMA was hosting the oral publishing house hhhhh for a series of publications on its listening platform. For the third and last edition, hhhhh invited artist Bruta

Bruta presented a variation of «Ce que j’avais à te dire (O que eu tinha a te dizer)», a monologue performed and recorded in São Paulo during her residency at Casa Líquida. By remaining bodily absent at KRONE COURONNE, she anchors the work around a voice shaped by spontaneous speech, by transcription and reinterpretation, in which different times and bodies overlap.

About hhhhh
hhhhh is a fugitive publishing house rethinking textual publication through orality: no printed matter, but forms inhabiting time and space, stories shared in the opacity of the spoken word, transforming the publishing house into a space for encounter and radical listening.

KRONE COURONNE is closing its Biel/Bienne chapter. We are grateful to all the artists we have worked with over these past 5 years and to the supportive community that welcomed us in Biel/Bienne with open arms! KRONE COURONNE will continue as a nomadic platform that cultivates an exchange between the different linguistic landscapes of the Swiss contemporary art scene.
Come celebrate with us one last time!

For the finissage, SOMA will host Bruta (Marseille), invited by hhhhh publishing house, followed by a listening session by Geo (Basel) and a performance by Mads Bycroft (Marseille).
