Freerider Martina Müller survives an avalanche that dragged her over a 20-meter cliff. Her biggest challenge is confronting her fears and finding her way back onto skis.

„Martina Müller was caught in an avalanche while freeriding. She fell approximately 20 meters over a rock face. Her spine had to be surgically stabilized with 15 screws and two metal rods. Nearly a year later, the implants could be removed. Thanks to intensive physical rehabilitation and ongoing mental recovery, she took her first steps back onto skis on November 18, 2023. Since then, she’s been back on skis – step by step.“
