La Minga Roots is a multidisciplinary project promoting and disseminating music, arts and other cultural expressions, supporting the development of sustainable business solutions as well as social and community projects. The main objectives are:
a) To support music, the arts and different forms of expression of traditional and independent cultures present in Bern and Switzerland, to promote them
and to ensure that they contribute positively to the transformation of the communities. b) To offer workshops based on art and cultural expressions (music, dance, audio-visual, plastic arts, etc.) that invite to explore and discover new forms of cooperation in the working environment, promoting also the well-being and creativity of the participants. c) To support social projects in Switzerland and elsewhere that work for peace, human rights and social justice. d) To create, discover and strengthen networks of cooperation between La Minga Roots as a cultural entity and different working and social environments, as a means to promote development and social well-being. La Minga Roots is therefore also an itinerant space for collective work, mutual support and the promotion of well-being - a space for building community around culture, open to all people, without segregation of any kind. La Minga Roots is formalised in Switzerland as a non-profit association. It is neutral in terms of party politics and denomination.
