A HUGE shoutout to all our incredible volunteers who helped bring HeroFest to life this year! 🫶

From helping visitors and keeping things running smoothly to solving unexpected problems and being there whenever an extra hand was needed, you were the heroes behind the scenes who made so much of this possible. Not to mention that some of you stayed till the end and assisted us with disassembles 🥹

We know how much time, energy, and dedication you put into these three days, and we couldn’t be more grateful. 💙

Organised by ZOWA Basel, Zombie Walk Basel brings together horror fans, cosplayers and zombie lovers for one of Basel’s most unusual community events. Every year, participants from Switzerland and neighbouring countries gather in full zombie looks before taking over the streets of Basel together.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re an experienced cosplayer, a horror fan or simply want to experience something a little different. 👀

Welcome to the Cosplay-Atelier , your cosplay family in Aargau!

Here, fiction becomes reality. The association promotes connection and a strong sense of community among cosplayers and anyone interested in cosplay.

Together, members craft, attend conventions, organize their own events and charity activities, play video games, spend time together, and much more. The only limit is your imagination.

Cosplay for a good cause! ✨

Cosplayers United 4 Charity (CU4C) brings together passionate cosplayers who use their costumes and characters to spread joy and support charitable causes.

Through events, fundraising activities and visits to institutions, the group aims to create unforgettable moments, especially for children, while showing how cosplay can make a positive difference. CU4C has also been an official partner of Make-A-Wish Switzerland since 2021. 💫

Meet your Sunday Cosplay Contest judges! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Tintenfisch, Mimschu & Nekoyona to the HeroFest judging panel. 💜

Swipe to get to know each of them a little better and support our local cosplayers 👀

Tintenfisch Cosplay is a Swiss cosplayer and variety streamer who creates detailed, expressive costumes with her own unique touch and story. As a trained actress, she brings her characters to life in cosplay contests through emotional stage performances.

After projects such as Jibaro and Padmé Amidala from Star Wars, she is currently working on new creations. She shares the creative process, along with relaxed gaming sessions, live on Twitch several times a week. Her community especially appreciates her down-to-earth, unfiltered personality and sense of humor.♥️

Mimschu is a cosplayer from Switzerland who has been creating costumes since 2016! Her main passion is armor and weapon making, and she loves working with materials like EVA foam, Worbla and XPS.

She especially enjoys bringing detailed game and fantasy designs to life and experimenting with new techniques along the way.

If you’re working on your own cosplay and aren’t sure which material or technique might work best, feel free to come and ask her. She’s always happy to share ideas and recommendations! ✨

Neko Yona started to cosplay in 2010, immediately falling in love with both the craftsmanship and the community-building nature of this artform.

With her mixed background, as a primary teacher and a Bachelor in Fashion Design & Technology, she enjoys to mentor and inspire other creators – from costume making to stage performance.

She has many victories under her belt and has been representing Switzerland internationally, for example being selected twice as the Swiss representative for C4 (Clara Cows Cosplay Cup) in the Netherlands.

Through the years she has become renowned for her extensive mastery of sewing techniques and her specialty skills in embroidery, partnering with BERNINA on various events across Switzerland, France and Portugal. 🔥
