DIY Skatepark Port Land was built in the summer of 2012 by about 50 like minded and highly motivated skateboarders.

They worked for about 5000 hours to create a 400m2 concrete paradise. The cost of the materials were financed by the Swisslos-Fonds of Basel, the GGG, various donations and a crowdfunding campaign on wemakeit.ch.

Paaaarty time!

We are thrilled to announce that we will be celebrating skateboarding again this summer! The Skate.ch ESC Basel is happening from Aug 29 to 31 at the Margarethen Ice Stadium. Open Street competition for Men and Women, some extra happenings on site and a night session with Live Music at Port Land Basel DIY. We would be happy to welcome a lot of people to Basel!

Die Trendsporthalle zieht um, nach 8 Jahren an der Uferstrasse 80, in eine neue feste Bleibe. Im Herbst 2024 öffnen wir die Tore gleich im benachbarten Gondrandgebäude.
