We are looking for new roommates to join our shared house from January/February 2025.

Our home is located in Allschwil, Baslerstrasse 321, right at the border of Basel-Stadt. The Tram 6 stops nearby at Lindenplatz, making it easy to reach the city.

We are a group of ten people, all active in the cultural scene. We love to cook and hangout together, while also giving each other space to relax and do our own thing.

Two rooms will become available:
One from January 2025 (or earlier if possible)

One from end of February 2025 (or earlier if needed)

The rent ranges between CHF 500 and 560, depending on the size of the room, plus some additional service costs.

Our house has plenty of shared spaces: three kitchens (one on each floor), a living room, a dining room, seven toilets, four bathrooms, three winter balconies, two washing machines with a dryer, and a lovely backyard that we all enjoy together.

If you are interested in living with us, we’d love to hear from you. Please send us a short introduction about yourself and any questions you might have to [email protected]

Thank you for sharing! 🖤

What emerges from the infusion of an exhibition format and the versatile place of daily domestic encounter? Since 2019, the team of Palazzina has explored this question in three different neighborhoods.
Ring Everywhere pairs a selection of installation views from 30 projects featuring 100+ artists with essays by Ingo Niermann, Nora Joung, Cassiane C. Pfund, Ines Goldbach and an interview with the members moderated by Marlene Marti Bürgi.

Special thanks to all the writers for their wonderful contributions,
to Martina Brassel for the concept and realization of the wonderful graphic design,
and to Mousse for publishing and distributing

Some of you may have already found it—through our newsletter or the link in our bio—but we’re now officially sharing our website here: palazzina.ch.
Launched at the end of 2023, the site brings together five years of exhibitions, events, collaborations, images, documents, and links—a place to showcase and announce our projects, and an archive of sorts, gathering everything we’ve been doing.
The website is another way of opening up what Palazzina is: sharing the projects, people, and processes that have shaped it since 2019.
A big shoutout to .eandi for designing the website’s visual identity, layout, and user experience, as well as our new logo and flyer-poster communication, developed alongside it—and to for the programming and development of the site’s structure and features. Thank you both for shaping it with such care and clarity.
With love,
Your Palazzina

We are excited to share that we are currently working on a major publication, to be published by Mousse and designed by Martina Brassel, marking Palazzina’s fifth anniversary.

Ring Everywhere will pair a selection of installation views from 30 projects—featuring over 100 artists—with essays by Ingo Niermann, Nora Joung, Cassiane C. Pfund, Ines Goldbach, and an interview with Palazzina members moderated by Marlene Marti Bürgi.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing encounters, collaborations, and friendships that have come from this beautiful journey, which began with our first show in November 2019. This book is our way of saying thank you to all the artists, curators, guests, visitors—and to all of you reading this—and of sharing what we’ve been able to do over the past five years.

In recent months, working on this publication has taken our full attention. That’s one of the reasons we’ve decided to focus entirely on the book and its launch, and not host our usual yearly exhibition program in 2025.

What the future holds for Palazzina, we still don’t fully know—we want to take time to reflect on how we’ve been working and focus on our individual projects.

We’re looking forward to sharing the result with you on Saturday, June 7th, from 5–10 PM.
So save the date, and let’s celebrate the launch of our book together—none of this would have been possible without all of you.

With love,

Your Palazzina

"This promethean title sounds somewhat counterintuitive coming from our shifting, chimerical organisation/organism. As if, against our better knowledge and daily practice, we attempted to present a show that is determined, fixed, described, in short, a form that has ultimately been found.
Now, let us suggest another reading of this title: What if we proposed you to accompany us, from the 8.11.2024 onwards, in our surprised discovery of a new arrangement of parts? One that hasn’t been seized by scientific (anatomy) books yet. What if we propose to show forms that can only be found at street-level, fleetingly appearing when studying our actual exchanges?"

Fragment from the exhibition text.

A warm thank you to all the involved artists and their work!

Ernestyna Orlowska is one of the participating artists at the upcoming Performance Day!

, (* in Poland, living in Bern) has a background in visual arts and performance, creating performance pieces that bring together her sculptural practice with choreography. By means of her idiosyncratic aesthetics, her works challenge conventional perceptions of the human body by exploring its diverse realms of conflict and deconstructing societal norms.
