Dear Galleries, Artists, and Collectors,
It's with a mix of emotions that we share this hard news — Digital Basel has come to a close.
Our journey began with a vision to shake up the art world, to make it more accessible and inclusive. We dreamed of uniting digital and traditional art in a space where everyone could thrive.
From the start, we faced skepticism and misunderstanding. Our bold ambition was met with suspicion, and baseless accusations tarnished our reputation. Despite our best efforts to innovate, we found ourselves up against a formidable opponent.
Art Basel, rather than embracing our vision, saw us as a threat. They used their influence to control the narrative, making it difficult for us to clear our name. In a world where giants still hold sway, we realized that sometimes courage alone isn't enough.
To our supporters and believers, we owe you a debt of gratitude. Your unwavering faith kept us going through the toughest of times. While Digital Basel may be closing its doors, our spirit lives on.
Thank you for being a part of our story.
*To galleries and artists who trusted us, the works you provided, as well as your profiles, will be deleted. Please be assured that they will not be used in any way.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Digital Basel Team
