Grand Transporter Inc. is a family owned business. We designe, build and sell grand piano dollies. GRAND TRANSPORTER INC.

We designed the first Grand Transporter to use in our piano rebuilding company in the 1980’s then around 1992 we started manufacturing them to sell. All grand transporter models are manufactured in the United States of America.

Grand Transporter 4900 Concert

This is our current design for concert size grands that feature a larger 3 inch tubular steel frame andspecial fit measurements from the most popular concert grands.

The 4600 is designed to be used on grand pianos 4.5ft to 7ft long.
the frame is made from mig welded 2.5in.X2.5in. steel tube on main frame and 2in.X2in. steel tube on arms. The frame rolls on 8in. urethane casters for easy rolling over irregular surfaces like carpet and electric cords. On top of the frame are three 6ton hydraulic lifting jacks with adjustable urethane pads to grip bottom of piano. the frame can be pulled along with tow handle (included) attaches to back or rear jack tube it is better to pull frame with piano than to push on piano. the GRAND TRANSPORTER folds up to 28in. X 32in. for storage or transport.
