Over The Garden Wall is a shadow puppet show projected onto a washing line, inspired by stories from Liverpool neighbours.

Featuring stories from residents of Webster’s Triangle, ‘Over the Garden Wall’ by Katy Anne Bellis, is streaming on unity theatre’s website for the next 6 days!

Using a blend of projection and stop motion animation it tells the stories of different neighbourhoods in Liverpool including ourselves and the Welsh Streets, among others.

Big thank you to Katy-Anne Bellis for the shadow puppet making workshop at our first Ironing Board Festival this year!🌻 It was great to see the community chatting again and sharing all sorts of cakes, bakes & shakes. Katy's show 'Over the Garden Wall' will be streamed on the unity theatre's website in the Autumn.

Triangulites assemble! 💚🔺After a long time coming, tomorrow we have our first ironing board festival of the year! Everyone from the triangle and further afield are welcome to come and chat, eat homemade cake and plant sunflower seeds! 🌻

We will have local artist Katy Anne here with us showing how to make shadow puppets using recycled materials. Katy Anne will be performing 'Over the Garden Wall' at the Unity Theatre's next season of work.

Come along anytime from 11am - 3pm at the Garrick Street Garden (44-52 Garrick St) See you there!

Learn how to make a shadow puppet using recycled materials with local artist Katy-Anne. A chance to come together, share some stories and enjoy the outdoors in good company.

This month's socially distanced meet up consisted of evergreen shrubs, tomatoes and cleaning up the Garrick St garden. Sponsored by non shop-soiled creme eggs and Lion bars. Some very tall sunflowers too! 💚🌻🔺
