Just completed this painting depicting from the movie “Dances With Wolves”. This movie I watched as a kid growing up and I was always fascinated with all Native American cultures. The actor portraying this character is Rodney A. Grant and is called “Wind In His Hair”

Painted this American Indian on horseback on the Great Plains. Back then the Plains Indians depended on the Buffalo for everything, just like we here in the north depended on the Caribou. Thought I’d paint something different outside my usual northern wildlife themes. 😁👍🏼
