At the end of November, our Development & Major Gifts Coordinator, Scott Anderson, was on hand to accept a generous donation of $3000 from the Haunted Town of Lil-Sur-Mer! That donation went towards reaching our goal for Radiothon to buy new equipment for the women & children’s unit at Cypress Regional Hospital.

This year, the Haunted Town gave out over $30,000 to local groups and charities. What an incredible achievement! Thank you for your support of the DNIF and so many other groups in the southwest!

News release.
The Haunted town is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Haunted Town tours fundraiser. Each one of these organizations applied for funds though our website at www.hauntedtownoflilsurmer.ca Cut off to apply is September 1st of each year. If you fit the guidelines please apply!
The final tally of $$ is just taking place and checks will be awarded on November 15th at our annual Scream Team Pizza Party. All we know is last year (2024) we raised about $28,000.00. We have surpassed that this year!
Next year will be our 10th year. Look out for something big. Who would have thought that this crazy little idea we had would have blossomed into something like this? Over 60 volunteers and admin each night make this possible. 200 or so victims pass through each night we are open, with tourists traveling from as far as Medicine Hat, Regina and Saskatoon. One family even came from Winnipeg!

Fairview school sold the raffle tickets for this year's quilt. They will also be receiving a cheque for their school nutrition program.

There will also be one other big announcement for a local group who asked us for help applying for a grant. We met all the requirements and received the funds to buy kitchen equipment for their nutrition program. Another score!
