Mikka started dancing at the age of 3, and her favourite style of dance is contemporary. One of her favourite dance memories was completing her summer co-op placement at the studio.
Mikka loves dance because it allows her to take control of her performance and see her growth through dedication and practice. She also loves being part of Dance in Style because of the welcoming environment, the lifelong friendships that are built, and the supportive staff who genuinely want to see every dancer succeed and shine.
This fall, Mikka will be attending Brock University to study Kinesiology, with hopes of staying involved in sports throughout her future career.
We are so thankful that Miss Mikka will be spending the summer with us, running dance camps and sharing her passion for dance with our students. While we will miss her when she heads off to university in September, we know she will come back to visit, and we can't wait to hear about all of her exciting adventures ahead!
Congratulations, Mikka! We are so proud of you and wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter. 🎉💙🩰

We couldn't have run 7 smooth recitals without the help of so many amazing people.
A huge thank you to our stage managers, stage runners, and everyone who helped backstage with props and quick changes. A special thank you to our amazing dance helpers, who were incredibly helpful throughout recital weekend—keeping dancers organized, offering support whenever it was needed, and helping everything run seamlessly behind the scenes.
To our incredible instructors, thank you for your dedication, passion, and countless hours of hard work. Your choreography was absolutely amazing, and your commitment to our dancers and our studio shines through in everything you do. The success of our recitals is a reflection of your talent, encouragement, and unwavering support, and we are so grateful for all that you contribute.
Thank you as well to all of the volunteer parents who supervised dancers, ushered guests, and lent a hand behind the scenes.
Recital weekend is so much fun, but it truly wouldn't be possible without our incredible team of volunteers, helpers, instructors, and families. Your time, energy, dedication, and willingness to help wherever needed make all the difference, and we appreciate each and every one of you.

We are so proud of our Tot and Junior dancers for the incredible job they did at recital last weekend! Their hard work and confidence truly shined on stage, and it was so special to watch them perform with such big smiles and excitement. The dancers had an amazing time both on stage and in the green room! ♥️
