💕40 YEARS OF WANDA + EVAN SWANCE 💕

When Wanda came to me looking for an alternative to the usual framed photo or guestbook-style signing piece for their 40th anniversary, I was immediately intrigued. I love these two, so obviously I wanted to figure out a way to make it happen.

Then she told me the celebration was in ONE WEEK. 😂

So… we got creative.

We made two wavy charcuterie boards so there would be enough room for all of their guests to sign their names directly into the greenware before firing.

It was our first time trying something like this, and everyone thought it was such a unique way to commemorate such a special celebration. I would say it was a success… so far. 😂 The rest is up to the kiln gods. 🔥🙏

Such a fun request, and I was so happy to help celebrate these two wonderful humans and 40 years together. 💖

The correct workshop time is:
Friday, October 10th, 1–3 PM

If you’re already registered, your booking confirmation has the correct time. The original poster incorrectly listed the workshop as 2–4 PM.

🍂 What a beautiful way to celebrate the beginning of fall!

We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon yesterday’s sold out Pick & Sculpt: Pottery in the Pumpkin Patch. So many smiling faces, gorgeous fall weather, and a whole patch full of creativity. 🧡

Everyone made the most wonderfully cute clay pumpkin decorations, and we can’t wait to get them fired and ready for all your October and November decorating! 🎃

A huge thank you to Alex and everyone at Thames River Melons for the warm welcome, the delicious farm-to-table treats, and for having us back to create together on the farm. We absolutely love bringing pottery out of the studio and into beautiful spaces like this.

And thank you to everyone who came out, got their hands muddy, picked a pumpkin and celebrated fall with us. 🍂✨

What an incredibly beautiful evening we spent at Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese last night for our very first Wavy Charcuterie Board experience! 🧀✨

Great company, gorgeous views, SO much good cheese, and we even got to roast cheese curds over the fire 🔥🧀

The weather could not have been more perfect, and everyone did such an amazing job creating their boards. I loved seeing how different each one turned out!

Feeling very grateful for evenings like this. Getting to make pottery, share good food, meet wonderful people and create these really special experiences together. 💖

Ready to get your hands muddy this fall? Come spend two hours at the wheel learning the basics of wheel throwing in a fun, beginner-friendly workshop!

No pottery experience needed. We’ll guide you through the process step-by-step as you learn to centre clay and shape your very own piece on the pottery wheel. 🏺✨

Clay, glaze & kiln firing included!

Your finished piece will be professionally glazed and kiln fired, then ready for pickup at The Kiln Room approximately 2–6 weeks after the workshop.

✨You don’t need a pottery wheel to make some seriously cool things out of clay. 💕🏺

Our September 6-Week Handbuilding Course begins in less than two weeks, and we have just 5 spots left!

✨ Wednesdays | 6PM–9PM

Over six weeks, you’ll explore pinch, coil, and slab-building techniques while learning how to turn clay into your own functional and decorative ceramic pieces.

Handbuilding is creative, versatile, and a little more forgiving than the pottery wheel, making this a great place to start if you’re brand new to clay. And if you’ve played with clay before, there’s plenty of room to push your ideas further!
