Well we put out the call for help and Woodstock and area delivered!!! When we originally posted we were worried we wouldn’t have enough poppies to complete this in time. Now we have extras to do another one next year!!! Keep the poppies coming we have a dream to eventually fill enough nets to cover the fencing at the Cenotaph.

Words cannot express our gratitude to everyone who donated poppies and to the ladies who have been tirelessly attaching them to the netting! Amazing job!!!

Our Branch Historian has worked hard with members of the Legion to create a wall to honour family members who have served in the Canadian or Allied Forces.

If you are interested in having your family member added to our wall please contact the office to fill out the form. We will need as much information as possible including: full legal name, unit served, years served, rank, etc.

This needs to be said. We need more people to volunteer. Do you enjoy having the Legion? Help us out!
Currently the Branch runs on a very small group of volunteers but they’re getting tired. If you’re a member or prospective member even an hour or two a month helps!

Btw there are a few of us under 50 who also work full time and have families who volunteer so if you fit that age group you won’t be alone. All ages welcome!

Please step up and help keep the Legion going for years to come!
