Valley Ghost Walks

Looking at the 2026 handbills, there are two updates we ought to draw attention to:

First off, there's no Ghost Walk this Saturday, October 24 at the Old Tremont Cemetery outside of Greenwood. We've haunted this stunning location for the past few Octobers, but, unfortunately, it's not happening this year. We aim to return again down the road...

Secondly, because of the support of The Town of Wolfville, there are two more, limited-seating, reduced-priced, indoor Ghost Talks at the Randall House Museum on Saturday, November 7, 6:30 & 8pm.

Trippy pumpkin patch.

Here's another night sky treat... These star trails over a pumpkin patch in Greenwich, Nova Scotia illustrate about an hour and a half of the Earth's rotation. The North Star, Polaris, appears stationary because of it's orientation with the earths rotational axis. (factoid: Prolaris is actually a binary star system - meaning that, though it appears as one sparkle in the sky, it is actually two stars orbiting each other)

Two weeks ago, for the first time of the season, we haunted Windsor. Special evenings like these remind Jerome of how much fun the Windsor Walk is. There are so many accents!

37 brave souls attended and lasted until the bitter end (only the strong survive). A BIG THANK YOU to the Mermaid Theatre for allowing us into your space for the theatrical performance of James Stark, the greatest Canadian Shakespearean actor of the 19th Century. After those tremendous rennovations, what a truly stunning performing arts center Windsor now has. Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia

Last week, Jerome summoned the ghosts for a private Kentville Ghost Walk for a local Girl Guides Chapter Girl Guides of Canada Nova Scotia

Although it was a lovely evening weather-wise, admittedly this was a more challenging walk than most. I like to think the gals learned a lot of local history that evening, but there's also a good chance a good chunk of content sailed over heads. We're family-friendly, but not necessarily designed for kids. There was also a lot more back and forth communication with the audience than normal. As the show went on, Jerome adjusted accordingly.

All in all, it was a good night as it's refreshing to be challenged.

The route took us into the Main Street Station's lower floor, second floor lobby, and ballroom. From there, we and upstairs at the Kings County Museum, followed by a trip down Memory Lane.

The Town of Wolfville, the Randall House Museum, and Valley Ghost Walks have teamed up for two Ghost Talks this Saturday, October 10. The first show at 6:30pm is sold out, and the second at 8pm only has 3 spaces left.

These are stationary, family-friendly historical productions focusing on Wolfville's fascinating history.

It's Ghost Month, and Valley Ghost Walks are ready. We've been around for 19 seasons, October is the best.

In the next few weeks we'll be haunting:
Wolfville, the Randall House Museum, Windsor, and Kentville. As normal, we have a few private gigs planned as well.

Jerome's boots need a new sole, I'm not sure if they'll last throughout this demanding month.

Two weeks ago we haunted the Devil's Half Acre, Kentville. T'was a lovely evening with 21 brave souls attending. Jerome the Gravekeeper was very pleased.

Lahrin debuted her role as the DAR Girl. Considering she had 24 hours to learn it, she did a fantastic job. Ghosts call in sick, too.

For the first time, we walked through the Kentville Heritage Society. They told us about their facility and showed off a piece of the Mount Blanc ship which was involved in the Halifax Explosion. They are located on Station Lane and are still open 6 days a week.
