From September 2026 to April 2027, Acadia Performing Arts offers another Series of world-class performances filled with excitement and excellence!
From Les Barocudas’ entertaining take on Baroque music in September, to Symphony Nova Scotia’s always sublime annual concert in April, with Belgium’s world-renowned cello octet, Ô-Celli and the Tom Regan Memorial Concert in the middle, our 2026-27 Series offers a wonderfully diverse Classical music content.
In contrast, half the Series will feature the best of contemporary Folk music. Ireland’s TULUA comes to Nova Scotia, representing the future of Irish folk music, while our friend Lennie Gallant brings back his iconic “Innkeeper’s Christmas”, and Lucy MacNeil, the Barra MacNeil’s lead singer, takes her original songs center stage. And do not miss The Fugitives, with their profoundly human concert/play, Ridge, a theatrically narrated folk song cycle about Vimy, presented on November 15.
The Series’ program was first revealed on April 17, at a sold-out Jeremy Dutcher & the National Arts Centre Orchestra concert. If you were there, you know that this will be remembered for years as one of the finest performances ever presented in Wolfville!
You can now buy a Series’ subscription offering substantial savings, at the Acadia box office, by phone (902)542-5500, or online. Individual concert tickets will go on sale in June.
