Sunday Music in the Garden Room Outstanding Chamber Music in the Garden Room of the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre. Hello and welcome to "Sunday Music in the Garden Room".

Concerts are free of charge, sponsored mainly by the Acadia Alumni Association and individual donors. My name is Elisabeth Kosters and I'm the coordinator of this recital series on behalf of the primary sponsor of the series, the Alumni Association of Acadia University. We organize seven to eight recitals between September and May, always on Sundays and always at 2 pm. My wise advisers are pianist

The perfect thing to do on a wintery Sunday afternoon: a free recital n the Garden Room at the K.C. Irving Centre at Acadia University. Pianist Tong Wang is on tour with Debut Atlantic. These concerts are largely sponsored by Acadia University Alumni and by many individuals donors which is why there is no admission, but we welcome donations.

Sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances. Cindy Thong isn't able to perform this coming Sunday, but we can offer a concert thanks to the availability of Jack Chen (flute) and Eileen Walsh (clarinet) who will perform a unique program with Mary Castello (piano). These three musicians performed this concert a week ago in Denton Hall and I happened to attend that concert and all I could think afterwards was "I wish I could hear this again" because that's how unique and special it was. So here is your chance to hear it again (if you attended the AUSOM recital) or to be suprised by a really unique recital that also honours Black History Month.
