Our lead team of artists work together with local creative professionals to create educational opportunities, share and explore their craft, and produce works of dance film and photography on a professional media-based platform. HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Ariya Dance Collective is continuously presenting opportunities for all types of artists throughout the community. Our film production allows open opportunities for professional dancers and other visual and performing artists to join us. We provide the community with educational film and movement workshops, professional training and for the arts community to collaborate and work with us at our Dance Film Festival. Whether you are a developing artist or a trained artist, ADC supports the ongoing training and education that helps to enhance and develop your creativity and professional career. Last week, we shot part 2/4 of our film series! Working with and again was so special. We often forget to take pictures because they are both so talented and simply inspiring to watch.
Not to mention the spectacular poems that have guided this series, all written by the incredible - each are so unique and beautifully crafted.
A big thank you to our Assistant Artistic Director, Sara St. Godard, for leading this wonderful series. If you haven’t seen part 1 (Abendrot), you can find it on our IGTV or our YouTube channel.

“UNION” - This concept was inspired by .herbalist’s “Union” painting. The oil, egg tempura and gold leafed piece, represents the multitude of polarities we find in our lives. When these forces meet internally and externally, we no longer live in polarity. Only wholeness. Purpose. Union.

Ariya Dance Collective is an artist-run collaborative platform for creative exploration and professional development. Our lead team of artists work collectively with the local arts community to create works of film and photography, in addition to workshops, events and other forms of media.
We provide an ever-growing platform for artists to explore their ideas, to connect and collaborate with other artistic professionals, and to showcase their creations. Our primary focus is to design opportunities for dancers, as well as provide ongoing support to artists who show commitment to personal and professional growth. We invite dancers to be a part of our projects, but also support those who want to explore their own ideas.
Ariya Dance Collective operates for a 10-month season, ending the year with the Winnipeg Dance Film Festival.
